Develop and execute test scenarios for performance testing. Execute tests to ensure results achieve documented goals and objectives. •
Must have a strong understanding of software/hardware
-Infrastructure
-Standalone
-Distributed environment
-Mainframe
-Application
-Thin/Thick Client
-Multi Tier Application
-NET and Java based
-Able to match application run-cycle into given infrastructural environment pinpoint to potential issues that could happen.
-Clear understanding of performance test requirements (Response time SLAs, concurrency levels, capacity limitations, etc.)
-Experience with basic C coding in LoadRunner including:
-String manipulation
-Arrays
-Understanding of performance test setup (Appropriate scripts, test data requirements, base data requirements, etc.)
-General understanding of resource monitoring in any environment
-Extensive experience preparing reports based on LoadRunner Analysis information.
-Ability to filter and translate highly technical data from various sources into easy to read reports
-Understanding of resource monitoring in different technologies and environments.
-Perform a variety of performance related tests and understanding of resource monitoring in different technologies and environments:
-Web/HTML
-Middleware (Web Services/MQ etc.)
-AJAX
-Siebel/PeopleSoft
-Citrix
-ODBC/JDBC
-Provide performance tests to clients including but not limited to load tests, soak tests, stress tests, volume/capacity tests, and failover tests.
-Willingness to adopt, integrate and expand the use of TDBFG accepted processes and best practices
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively to identify solutions and resolve problems
-Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects
-Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
-Ability to work both in teams and individually
University degree or college diploma with experience in the IT industry
Minimum 5 years of testing/development experience.
Certified in HP LoadRunner is a plus.
