The employees and investors of Bycast received an early Christmas present this year when NetApp acquired the 80+ person company in an all cash transaction in May. But success didn't come easy for the company. When Moe Kermani took over as CEO of Bycast in 2001, the young startup had a killer
technology but their intended market had just imploded . and they were running out of cash. Under Moe's leadership, Bycast found a new market and not only survived but flourished to become a leader in large scale digital archive and storage. On Oct 26th Moe will share the Bycast story and the lessons he learned along the way.
