The McMaster Biosciences Incubation Centre (MBCI) - McMaster University is a public research university and its research activities exceed those of universities twice its size. The federal government is the largest source of funding, providing 57 percent of McMaster's research budget, primarily through grants. Corporations contribute around 12 percent of the overall research budget.

National Business Incubation Association (NBIA) - advances the business creation process to increase entrepreneurial success and individual opportunity, strengthening communities worldwide. To accomplish this mission, NBIA serves as a clearinghouse of information on incubator management and development issues. The association engages in many activities that support members’ professional development 

The Next 36 - goal is to help launch the careers of Canada’s most promising and innovative undergraduates.  The program will identify these students through a rigorous national selection process, and give them the academic foundation, practical skills, role models and networks to become Canada’s next generation of entrepreneurial leaders. NRC Biotechnology Research Institute - is an agency of the Government of Canada, reporting to Parliament through the Minister of Industry. It is governed by a council of appointees drawn from its client community.  

NRC Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information - is an agency of the Government of Canada, reporting to Parliament through the Minister of Industry. It is governed by a council of appointees drawn from its client community. 

NRC Institute for Biological Sciences - is an agency of the Government of Canada, reporting to Parliament through the Minister of Industry. It is governed by a council of appointees drawn from its client community. 

NRC Institute for Ocean Technology - is an agency of the Government of Canada, reporting to Parliament through the Minister of Industry. It is governed by a council of appointees drawn from its client community.  

OPTIC Virtual Incubator - The primary role of OPTIC is to serve as a funding agency, using other agencies, to assist entrepreneurs and start-ups. OPTIC will also become a primary source for information available to assist these young businesses.

U of T Web Start-up Society - aims to help students to find other student programmers, designers, or entrepreneurs who want to build great things on the web. Alberta


Agriculture Food Processing Development Centre 2 - Agriculture is fundamental to Alberta. The food and beverage industry is Alberta's largest secondary manufacturing industry, generating in excess of $10.0 billion in value of shipments. Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development, through the Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund, opened the Food Processing Development Centre at Leduc in 1984. It serves to encourage the growth and expansion of this vital industry in highly competitive domestic and global markets.

Toronto Fashion Incubator (TFI) - is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of professionals from business, education and fashion. The Board is responsible for all TFI policies, programs, budgets and fundraising development.  

Toronto Food Business Incubator Business Incubation - involves dynamic business strategies to help build up strong, viable, companies from an idea and determination. Since starting up a small business can be such a challenge for most, a business incubator is often necessary to help nurture young companies those first few months or years until they have established themselves firmly in the community.

Prince Edward Island

Innovation PEI - Atlantic Technology Centre Charlottetown PEI - Innovation PEI is focused on advancing economic development in Prince Edward Island by investing in people, innovation, and infrastructure. It is targeting key sectors that have displayed a high potential for economic growth within the Province. These sectors include aerospace, bioscience (including agriculture and fisheries), information technology, financial services and renewable energy. It strives to assist the rapid development of these sectors and others to drive its Island economy through innovative new products and services. 

Invest Ottawa - services include startup incubation and mentorship, acceleration for existing companies, global business attraction and local business retention, targeted sector development, commercialization, and marketing Ottawa’s diversified economy and high quality of life.  

Investment Accelerator Fund (IAF) - helps accelerate the growth of new technology companies being established in Ontario and positions them for further investment by angles and venture capitalists. The fund invests up to $500,000 in companies that have the potential to be global leaders in their field and provide sustainable economic benefits to Ontario. 

Multiplicity Accelerator - Multiplicity is a sales-focused business accelerator and co-working ecosystem, based in the heart of Downtown Toronto.  By connecting entrepreneurs with startup experts who help to solve strategy and execution-related problems, Multiplicity accelerates the growth of early-stage technology businesses focused on software, internet and digital media.  

Northern Ontario Centre for Advanced Technology (NORCAT) - is a non-for-profit, non-shared incorporated company and has been a leader in occupational health and safety training, mine training, technology innovation and commercialization.  

The Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre - will act as a catalyst to creating jobs by supporting innovative entrepreneurs to establish and/or expand their businesses, also contributing to the long-term economic growth of Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario and creating conditions favorable for technology transfer to industry through development and commercialization of innovative companies.

Rotman VentureLab - leverages: 1) the business school's leading faculty and industry network, 2) inventions and talent from the world-class, technology-oriented faculties at the University of Toronto such as Computer Science, Engineering, and the University Health Network, and 3) its location in the heart of Toronto – North America's third largest financial centre and one of the world's most culturally diverse cities, to achieve its mission. Rotman VentureLab’s mission is to facilitate the creation and growth of massively scalable, technology-based companies from the University of Toronto community. 

Ryerson Digital Media Zone (DMZ) - is a multidisciplinary workspace for research and learning. This hub of digital media innovation, collaboration and commercialization is home to both entrepreneurial companies and industry solution-providers. With access to overhead, business services and a rich network of contacts, entrepreneurs and researchers can accelerate product launches, and contribute to Canada’s growing success in the digital economy.  

Sarnia-Lambton Business Development Center - Work closely with private and public sector partners to assess local economic problems and to look at new ideas and opportunities to strengthen Lambton’s economy. Invest in new or existing Lambton Businesses to assist them with start-up, expansion or stabilization plans to facilitate long-term job creation or/maintenance. Silicon Halton - does all kinds of great things to help members connect with the hi-tech community in Halton, and create opportunities for business growth and partnerships. It provides a platform for Halton tech companies to dream, discuss, develop, test, and launch their business ideas. 

ventureLAB™ - is where talented entrepreneurs get help bringing their technology to market. It is the York Region partner in Ontario’s Network of Excellence [ONE], a collaborative network of organizations across Ontario, designed to help you commercialize your ideas.



Quebec


Centech - which is part of the campus of ETS, is located on Montfort Street, corner of Notre-Dame in Montreal. A dozen companies are incubated and the other, over fifty, operate outside the center to the four corners of Quebec. They receive incubation services and supervision of the Centre which also has an assembly plant and a technology showcase.  

Centre d'entreprises et d'innovation de Montreal (CEIM) - offers customized management consulting and related services for the creation and development of companies in information technology, new medias, clean and industrial technology and life sciences sectors.  

Drummondville Economic Development Authority - The mission of the Drummondville Economic Development Authority is to promote industry, tourism and business through concrete actions in order to create favourable conditions for economic development in the MRC of Drummond

J.-Armand-Bombardier Incubator - is a joint initiative from Université de Montréal and École Polytechnique.
