New app links to new XM online+ service allowing iPhone and iPod touch users to listen anywhere, anytime

Toronto, ON., December 1, 2009 – XM Canada (TSX:XSR), the country’s leading satellite radio company, today announced its XM online+ App is available from the App Store. The app offers iPhone and iPod touch users in Canada an easy and portable way to experience XM programming anywhere, anytime.

Starting today, users can listen to over 100 channels of XM programming, including:

• 24/7 sports talk channels such as NHL Home Ice and MLB Home Plate.
• comedy channels including The Virus with Opie and Anthony and The
