| Minister of Industry to Announce Strategic partnerships with Centres of Excellence around the world |

MONTRÉAL ─ May 22, 2007 — The Honourable Maxime Bernier, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for the Networks of Centres of Excellence, will announce new partnerships in health sciences, environment and advanced technologies with Centres of Excellence around the world.
Experts from Germany (Global Allergy and Asthma European Network), France (Global Alliance against Chronic Respiratory Diseases), Switzerland (World Health Organization), and Sweden (Karolinska Institutet) will participate in the announcement by videoconference.
