Banff World Television Festival Presents 2007 Deluxe Outstanding Technical Achievement Award to da Vinci Systems |

Toronto, ON (Canada) – May 9, 2007 – The Banff World Television Festival announced today that the 2007 Deluxe Outstanding Technical Achievement Award will be presented to da Vinci Systems in recognition of the company’s technical innovation. With credits on blockbuster films such as Spiderman 3, DreamGirls and Gladiator, and television shows such as the Sopranos and CSI: Miami, this honour acknowledges the creative latitude that da Vinci Systems’ line of products offers producers, directors and many others in the film and television industry. The selection was made in consultation with technology executives from the postproduction and broadcast industries throughout Canada.
The 2007 Deluxe Outstanding Technical Achievement Award will be presented to da Vinci Systems’ Vice-President & General Manager, Bill Robertson, during the annual Awards Luncheon at the Banff World Television Festival on Monday June 11, 2007. The presentation will be made by Russ Robertson (no relation), Vice President, Sales, for Deluxe Postproduction.
“Throughout the years, we have seen countless feature films, television shows, documentaries, commercials and Movie of the Weeks brought to life with the technology that has been provided by da Vinci’s line of color correctors,” states Russ Robertson, Vice President of Sales for Deluxe Postproduction. “They have helped establish the highest levels of quality and service that the industry has come to expect and we are delighted to add them to a growing list of stellar past winners.”
