The CLP 660 and CLX-6200 series line-up provides professional, high-speed options for SMBs
April 28, 2008 – Mississauga, ON – Samsung Electronics, a leading innovator in the world's technology industry, today announced the availability of the CLP 660 and CLX-6200 series of printers. Offering speed, flexibility and high-quality outputs, both printers provide increased operating efficiency for small to medium businesses (SMBs).
The new line of CLP 660 series printers offer colour printing speeds which rival those which have been traditionally only associated with black and white printing. Delivering unparalleled efficiency, the CLP-610ND delivers printing speeds up to 21 pages per minute (ppm) while the CLP-660N and CLP-660ND print up to 25 ppm*. Combined with only 14 seconds first page-out time, these printers ensure that valuable time waiting for pages to print is significantly reduced.

The CLP-660 series provides a host of high-performance features for SMBs that often require colour printing capabilities. The series is network-ready, enabling any employee to easily access and share the printer simultaneously. The high maximum monthly duty cycle - 65,000 pages for CLP-610ND and 80,000 pages for CLP-660N/ND - means that this series can handle even the most demanding office's printing needs.
These new colour laser printers are highly cost-efficient, boasting the lowest cost per page (CPP) in their class. The high-yield toner cartridges deliver up to 5,500 black and white or 5,000 colour pages, saving money and time spent on replacements. Built-in duplex capabilities provide the option to print double-sided pages, instantly cutting paper consumption by half.
With the Samsung CLX-6200 series, office users can conveniently access the printer and related devices without being connected to the network, making printing fast and simple. The USB direct function allows PC-less scanning and printing directly from a USB memory stick to simplify work-processes – especially in multi-user environments.
The CLX-6200 series has a Duplex Automatic Document Feeder** option that enables the automatic printing and scanning of double-sided documents – saving businesses money by reducing paper consumption by one-half and eliminating the time needed to manually re-load each page.
To meet the diverse needs of business users, the Samsung CLX-6200 series offers a wide selection of printing solutions, including Samsung SmarThru™ (document management), SyncThru™ (network device management) and security management solutions. Enhanced accessibility, with an 80GB hard drive on select models**, also assures improved capability to manage all of the print jobs on a multi-user network.
