| New Study Recognizes Halogen Customer for Best Practices in Employee Performance and Talent Management |
March 27, 2008 |
OTTAWA, March 27 /CNW Telbec/ - HalogenSoftware Inc., a leading provider of web-based employee performance and talent management software, has sponsored an IDC case study which profiles Florida-based CPA firm, O'Sullivan Creel. It was selected for this study based on its best-practice driven approach to employee performance and talent management, which includes the use of Halogen's product suite.
The case study, "Transforming Employee Performance Management: A Case Study on O'Sullivan Creel," finds that automating the management of employee performance can reduce turnover, significantly improve savings and drive adoption and efficiency.
Following the rollout of the Halogen solution, independent survey results from the McGladrey network indicated a 38 percent improvement in employees' understanding of the link between the work they do and how they are paid. Employees now have a clear roadmap for their success in the firm and O'Sullivan Creel has higher employee satisfaction - a key driver in retaining top performers.
"Employee performance and talent management systems offer more than just automation. This case study is a good example how these systems can be used to drive value for the organization and support recruitment and retention efforts as well," says Krista Collins, Research Analyst, Canadian IT Innovation & Export, IDC.
O'Sullivan Creel selected Halogen eAppraisal and Multi-Rater based on the flexibility of the solution, as it could be configured without IT or vendor involvement. Since rolling out the solution, under the leadership of partner Kathy Anthony, the firm has realized a number of benefits including productivity gains, improved quality of appraisals and greater transparency into the process.
"Given where we want our company to go, we could not accomplish it without Halogen," said Kathy Anthony, PHR, Partner, O'Sullivan Creel. "I believe the performance management culture that we have built using Halogen's solutions will ensure we meet our strategic vision."
