Podcasts Big With Canadian Boomers
The first large survey of Canadian podcast listeners has concluded that baby boomers, not youngsters, are the big market.

Podcast listeners in Canada are almost evenly split between men and women, 59 per cent of listeners are between 25 and 44 years old, and the baby boomer genration embraces these audio shows at almost double the rate than those younger than 24, according to the survey available at www.canadianpodcastlistenerssurvey.ca. "Podcasting is moving away from early adopters and into the mainstream, and is no longer synonymous with young, tech-savvy men," said Jen evans, president of Sequentia Communications and co-creator of the podcasting survey.
