| Dell, RBC honour ergonomic diaper bag |
April 17, 2007 |
Dell and RBC created the Small Business Excellence Award to recognize SMBs which “use information technology to foster a competitive advantage and deliver superior customer experience.” This year’s award went to Baby Sherpa, maker of the Baby Sherpa Diaper Bag, in Stony Mountain, Man. The bag is an ergonomic diaper/gear backpack, designed for on-the-go multitasking parents. The bag has sold around the globe by utilizing online sales channels to reach customers. Also, much of the design, production and distribution of the Baby Sherpa Diaper Bag is handled remotely. Baby Sherpa wins $20,000 in technology and up to $5,000 in professional services from Dell and also gets a “Day with Dell” program with Dell executives, including founder and chairman Michael Dell.
