Guide for Small Business

Is your company eligible to be featured in an Intel Small Business Case Study?

King To-do January 30, 2007
Think small-business tools, and tech goodies such as Wi-Fi laptops, thumb drives and cellphones
come to mind, but for time management and productivity, 58 per cent of small business owners rely on simple to-do lists, according to findings from RBC Royal Bank’s 2006 Small Business Survey, conducted by Ipsos Reid.

Small business owners also employ online banking services (60 per cent), accounting software (38 per cent) and communication technology (35 per cent) to save time, but the to-do list is still king. “Small business owners may well be creating and storing their to-do lists on computers or cellphones, but it’s interesting to see something as straightforward as the to-do list rising to the top,” said Kristina Depencier, national manager for small business at RBC Royal Bank.
