Trivia Instead Of Rocket Launchers ZAPit Game Wave console Home video game consoles are hugely popular, but many people are uncomfortable with the mayhem and gore that usually pumps out of the things. Enter the Game Wave, a made-in-Canada console designed to entertain without a body count.
The DVD-based console comes with four remotes, and accommodates six, and ships with 4 Degrees – The Arc of Trivia, which offers 25 hours of no-repeat trivia play for up to six people. Other games include Rewind, a recent-events game; Zap 21, a take on Blackjack; Letter Zap! in which players build words; Piñata, a mystery word challenge; Roll the Bones dice games; and 4 Degrees volume 2 and 4 Degrees Bible Trivia. The system also plays DVD movies and sells for $149.99.
