Palm Treo 650
Blackberrys from Research in Motion pretty much own the mobile e-mail space, but that standing has largely come by
default: there weren’t any other devices that handled e-mail as well as a Blackberry.
But this revamped Treo is a new threat on RIM’s block.
The 650 is an update of the Treo 600. Among the improvements are a better screen and keyboard, although the overall form
factor is the same. In addition to handling e-mail, the 650 is a full Palm organizer and a very usable phone.
The Treo 650 is a member of a very small tech club: a device that you use for just a few days and then do not want to be
without. It starts at $550 from Rogers.
