Maxtor OneTouch II External Hard Drive, Seagate Pocket Hard Drive
Almost everything is digital now. Photos used to be stored in boxes, now they are on hard drives; music which once sat in sleeves on a shelf is now MP3s on a computer. And more importantly, business documents and data are almost-exclusively computer based. All of which means data backup solutions are more important than ever.

One solid backup option is the OneTouch II external drive. Maxtor’s hardware and software combination allow users to copy folders and files with the press of one button, so deleted files can be retrieved, lost information recovered and an entire hard drive can even be rolled back to an earlier state.

From Seagate comes a backup solution with less capacity, at 2.5GB or 5GB, but it can literally be carried in a pocket. The portable drive can be left plugged into a PC for regular backups or brought along to client meetings.

Data backup is always the most neglected business process, especially among small and medium businesses, and these products both provide valuable peace of mind. The Maxtor OneTouch II External Hard Drive is available in different capacities, with the 300GB version selling for $499. The Seagate drive is available in 2.5GB and 5GB capacities; the smaller size sells for approximately $175.
