Global IT decision-makers rate green tech companies

A global green enterprise IT study released by Strategic Oxygen, GCI Group and Cohn & Wolfe found that more than 70 per cent of respondents would “probably” or “definitely” increase their preference for a brand’s green products if they were convinced it was good for the environment and for business. The respondents then named the brands most likely to be convincing.
The study, called GreenFactor, was conducted in Q1 of 2008 and surveyed more than 3,500 enterprise IT decision-makers—including CXOs, CIOs, IT managers and line-of-business managers—in 11 countries.
And while no one company emerged as the clear green winner, a small group rose to the top. They are:

And good news for the winners: almost 60 per cent of respondents said they would expect to pay a premium for green products.
