| Growing a small business? Here’s a contest for you |

The Second Annual Markham Space Race is on, and small tech or export businesses based anywhere in Ontario are eligible to enter.
Entrants are judged on the strength of their growth plans. The winner lands a $63,100 prize package including a fully furnished 1,000-square-foot office for a year in the Town of Markham, a telecommunications package from Telus Business Solutions and thousands of dollars in business, legal, accounting, financial, HR and printing services. Second and third-place winners will receive packages valued at $30,000 and $15,000 respectively. Details are at www.markhamspacerace.ca.
