It runs counter to the whole collaborative workplace ideal, but if a recent study is to be believed it’s smart to keep quiet about any good ideas you have. That’s because many people in your office can’t wait to steal your brainstorm. Almost six in 10 Canadian employees interviewed by OfficeTeam said a coworker had taken credit for their idea. Worse still, most got away with it: 41 per cent of those robbed said they did nothing in response.
