Reduce your print costs

Companies spend one to three per cent of revenues on printing every year, according to Gartner. HP offers the following advice to cut print costs:
  • scan documents and digitally send them to e-mail or network folders,
  • print on both sides,
  • reduce text size,
  • use colour only when necessary,
  • and monitor what gets printed by employees,
as mismanagement of printing results in excessive operating costs and diminished productivity.
