Take a social networking site, add in a business focus and then wrap the whole thing with green awareness and what you get is GreenLinkz, at least according to the site’s founders. GreenLinkz.com is an online business social networking site for those who wish to converse, innovate and recruit around an environmental focus, according to Kris Moorman, president of GreenLinkz.com. “Members in GreenLinkz.com can do far more than they can on other social or business connection sites because we are focused on actually creating dialogue, real connections and discussions.”

Allowing for public or private communities, the site’s emphasis is on sharing documents and engaging in forum topics and blogs. And the site has set a goal: it wants more than one million members by the end of the year and it will make a charitable donation for every member who joins before then.
