On May 12 and 13, 2008, the Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) will hold its third annual Discovery conference.
Discovery is Canada’s premiere innovation and commercialization event, attracting over 1,500 students, researchers, business leaders, government and the investment community.
The theme of this year’s conference, “Challenging the Formulas for Commercial Success,” challenges conventional thinking about innovation and business strategy. Celebrated speakers Nassim Nicholas Taleb, the New York Times bestselling author of The Black Swan, Michael Raynor, author of The Strategy Paradox will stress how uncertainty, risk and even randomness should be embraced to achieve commercial success.
