I'm conducting research for my PhD studies on Foursquare. I'm looking for Foursquare users to interview via email. All participants will receive a $5 (Canadian) Starbucks gift card.
Questions explore: 1) what motivates people to participate, 2) how people use the application 3) what types of information are users seeking.

The interview consists of ten short-answer questions and 3 profiling questions (ie. age, location, length of membership). There may be a couple short follow-up or clarification questions.

To qualify, one:
  1. Must have used Foursquare for 2 months or more
  2. Must use it at least 2-3 times a week
  3. Have a few friends in your Foursquare network (ie. more than 3)
  4. Be over 18 years old
Participant names and identifying details will be kept strictly confidential.

Here's my profile at University of Toronto's website. I am happy to provide further credentials or academic references.

The first five people to qualify will be accepted. Upon submitting your final answers, I will mail you the gift card.
