I was catching up on my reading the other day and came across an article from SD Times SOA's Best When Business Pulls the Strings. A couple of people quoted in the article were from HP: Tom Hall and E.G. Nadhan.
Like any good IT project, the article states that you should first ensure you understand your business objectives and how you're going to measure the success of the project. In this way, you can make adjustments along the way as new issues and requirements come to light based on a foundation of "knowns" as opposed to supposition.
When I was first starting this blog I used to write about SOA issues all the time. Now it seems to be just a part of daily life.
